While making our magazine advert we feel it is important to consider the functions and conventions of them and will do this by reseraching what the main functions are:
Functions:
- To Promote the artist
- To sell the song
- To be eyecatching: visually striking
Conventions:
- The name of the artist
- The name of the album
- The release date
- Website and Twitter addresses
- Reveiws and ratings of the album
- Record label branding
- Picture of the artist or relevent imagery to sell the Digipak (Must be manipulated in some way)
- Tour dates
